The inaugural Wi-Fi Summit was held in the IIT-Madras campus in Chennai. Attended by 70 delegates, it featured 8 talks from industry experts and a panel discussion.

The 2nd event took place in Delhi where the focus was on use cases of Wi-Fi across different verticals.
Feb 24, 2017
Wi-Fi Summit really took in 2017 when the 3rd edition, held in Bengaluru, attracted 150 delegates. There were 9 technical presentations and a panel discussion.
Sept 14-15, 2017
This was the second event in 2017, with 200 participants. There were a total of 15 technical talks and panel discussions, spread over 2 days, with focus on Campus Wi-Fi and Public Wi-Fi.
Mar 9, 2018
The 5th edition saw the Wi-Fi KS return back to India's Silicon Valley, Bengaluru. It was a sold out event with 200+ delegates. The speaker's lineup included representatives from all the key stakeholders including network/device/chipset vendors, operators and Govt officials.
Apr 5, 2019
In 2019, the Summit was once again held in Bengaluru. With Wi-Fi 6 on the verge of being launched, it was one of the key topics covered during the talks at this event.
Apr 20-22, 2021
The 2020 edition had to be cancelled at the last minute due to the COVID-19 outbreak but a virtual Summit was held in 2021, spread over 3 days. 6GHz Wi-Fi and competitive/cooperative aspects of Wi-Fi with respect to 5G were some of the key topics under discussion.
May 27, 2022
In 2022, the Summit was back in full glory, with a face-2-face event in Bangalore. Wi-Fi 6/6E was the main topic on the agenda with the speakers addressing different perspectives such as implementations & deployment challenges, performance aspects and evolution towards Wi-Fi 7.
